Tower / Structural Rescue

Arqiva & MATS Approved Training Provider

The Tower / Structural rescue course is designed to enable delegates to deal with emergency situations whilst working at heights. This Arqiva and MATS approved course involves classroom training and practical rescue training & scenarios on our custom built tower, using a variety of rescue equipment found in industry. Tower Rescue courses are held at our dedicated centre in Daventry, Northants.

Evidence of previous competence / training will be required prior to attending. Delegates must have a valid & in-date climber certificate or equivalent to attend this course.

The course meets the Mast and Towers Safety Group (MATS) course requirements.

Delegates must be aged over 18, be able to certify that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that might prevent them working at height, & fluent in English.

Successful completion of this course will be accepted on the Arqiva Gateway (Site Access) system.

The Tower Climbing & Rescue– Refresher course is designed for existing climbers who wish to renew their tower climbing and rescue certification.

Radio Frequency (RF) Safety Awareness

Arqiva Approved Training Provider

Radio Frequency (RF) is present on many areas where personnel work. This Arqiva approved course is designed to explain in layman terms the hazards of working in such areas and outlines the steps to be taken in order to ensure their safety. Identification of RF areas, avoidance and first aid are covered on the course. RF Safety Awareness courses are held at our centres in Watford, Herts and Daventry, Northants or onsite at client premises.

Delegates must be fluent in English

Successful completion of this course will be accepted on the Arqiva Gateway (Site Access) system.

 

Level 3 Award - Emergency First Aid at Work (Incorporating at Heights)

Arqiva Approved Training Provider

The Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (incorporating at heights) whilst delivered to the regulated standard, will be additionally certified to include subjects related to `at height'. The course is designed to offer essential basic skills and knowledge required to administer emergency first aid at work for those who work at height until someone more qualified is available to take charge of the situation.The Emergency First Aid at Work (incorporating at heights) courses are held at our dedicated centres in Watford, Hertfordshire and Daventry, Northants or onsite at client premises.

Delegates must be fluent in English. The course is delivered and assessed in English only

Advanced Tower Climber (Refresher)

MATS / Arqiva Approved Training Provider

The Advanced Climber Refresher may be conducted at the same time as the Tower / Structural Rescue Course and is designed designed for those Advanced Climbers who have climbed occupationally in the proceding 12 months & whose current certification is about to expire. This MATS / Arqiva approved course will update the climber on current legislation and any advancements in the systems and techniques used within the practical areas of tower climbing. The course also aims to develop and build on the current skill level of the individual candidates. Advanced Climber Refresher courses are held at our dedicated centre in Daventry, Northants.
