Rigging & Lifting of Light Loads (Novice)

This course is designed to give delegates the knowledge and practical experience for planning , preparing and executing lift operations

Designed for personnel who are required to use lifting equipment to haul items up to positions on structures i.e telecom riggers, theatre stage riggers, steel erectors etc.  Our 2 day course is suitable for novices.  If you have 1 years climbing experience (supported by relevant certification) you can attend our 1 day course instead. 

Course content is in line with MBNL requirements.

The Advanced Climber course provides both the theoretical and practical training to enable personnel to access open steel work on towers, masts and other high structures. This Arqiva approved & MATS course aims to teach the essential requirements needed to climb and access unprotected areas using fall protection equipment. This Arqiva and MATS approved course involves classroom training and practical rescue training & scenarios on our custom built tower, using a variety of rescue equipment found in industry. Tower Rescue courses are held at our dedicated centre in Daventry, Northants.

Radio Frequency (RF) is present on many areas where personnel work. This Arqiva approved course is designed to explain in layman terms the hazards of working in such areas and outlines the steps to be taken in order to ensure their safety. Identification of RF areas, avoidance and first aid are covered on the course. RF Safety Awareness courses are held at our centres in Watford, Herts and Daventry, Northants or onsite at client premises.

Delegates must be fluent in English

Level 3 Award - Emergency First Aid at Work (Incorporating at Heights)

The Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (incorporating at heights) whilst delivered to the regulated standard, will be additionally certified to include subjects related to `at height'. The course is designed to offer essential basic skills and knowledge required to administer emergency first aid at work for those who work at height until someone more qualified is available to take charge of the situation.The Emergency First Aid at Work (incorporating at heights) courses are held at our dedicated centres in Watford, Hertfordshire and Daventry, Northants or onsite at client premises.

Delegates must be fluent in English. The course is delivered and assessed in English only
