Safe use of Winching and Lifting Equipment
A course designed to compliment the slinger banksman course for those erecting equipment on Radio towers. Capstan and drum winches are used as opposed to cranes. Slinging of antennas and steelwork for lifting on towers is explained in the classroom and practically on our purpose designed training area.
Slinger Banksman
Delegates who attend this course will understand upon completion current legislation, different slinging methods and the effects of weight reduction, how to sling, slinging plans and how to signal.
Antenna Alignment
Antennas are becoming more complex and require to be accurately aligned. This course introduces the principle of alignment to enable the delegate to fully understand why correct positioning of an antenna is critical. The course also involves practical use of the latest equipment to align antennas.
