Facilitated through one of our IPAF accredited associates, this course covers both the Scissor & Self Propelled Boom Lifts and is ideal for anyone who potentially uses supervises or manages the MEWPs within the workplace. The course provides a combination blend of classroom-based theory and hands-on experience, giving individuals an awareness of the legal implications, common hazards and precautions, together with the correct driving, use, inspection, elevating and lowering procedures for MEWPs

Rope Access

Rope Access

The Rope Access course is designed for those who need to access previously inaccessable work areas; where access methods are limited and the use of ropes could form a viable option. The course is developed around BS7985 2002, the British Standard for Industrial Rope Access and aims to give the candidate skills in the descent and ascent of ropes in order to reach their work place. Rope Access training courses are held at our dedicated centre in Daventry, Northants.

Rope Access Technician (Experienced)

Rope Access Technician (Experienced)

This course is for those who have specific trade skills but wish to use rope access as a method of gaining access to and work in difficult locations. The term rope access if often used to describe access to location of work using descending and ascending equipment on ropes. Sage Safety and Training has identified that other organisations spend a lot of training time on teaching delegates to ascend ropes. This technique is often not required as the work only requires a descent. This course has been developed to BS 7985:2000 and provides all the required skills for rope access operations on structures of any form. Please note - this course is for experienced climbers only. If you do not hold a current certificate in rope access training then the three day novice course must be undertaken.

This Asbestos Awareness course is specifically designed to increase the general awareness of those individuals who may encounter Asbestos as part of their day to day activities such as maintenance staff, tradesmen etc. It will provide delegates with a clear understanding of Asbestos, how it can be identified, its dangers, where it may be found & actions to be taken. PASMA (Erection and use of Prefabricated Access Towers)

The PASMA course includes both theoretical and practical sessions on the safe erection, dismantling and use of mobile assess tower. Delegates are assessed on both practical and written aspects of the course.
