Advanced Climber & Structural Rescue
This course provides both the theoretical and practical training to enable personnel to access open steel work on towers, masts and other high structures. The course aims to teach the essential requirements needed to climb and access unprotected areas using fall protection equipment. This course also combines the elements to conduct a successful tower / structural rescue.
Roof Top Access
As well as combining the Roof Top Safety & Safe Use of Ladders & Steps, this course will consider various methods of work restraint and fall arrest in order to protect workers when required to work in exposed areas,. The delegates will learn the difference between work restraint and fall arrest techniques and therefore coming up with practical solutions to access problems on unprotected rooftops.
ForkLift Truck Operator Safety – Novice Operator
This practical course is for fork lift truck operators who have little or no experience. The course is approved by the Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB) and fully complies with the Approved Code of Practice for the Training of Fork Lift Truck Operators (April 1989).
First Aid At Work (HSE)
All employers in the UK have a legal obligation to make First Aid provision for their employees. This course will enable a delegate to administer first aid to a level required by the HSE. As a qualified First Aider they will have the essential skills to handle any First Aid situation, from minor slips and trips to the most serious of incidents. First Aid at Work training courses can be held at our dedicated centres in Leavesden, Watford and Daventry, Northants or onsite at client premises. The price of £1050.00 plus VAT is a course price for a maximum of 12 delegates.
Emergency First Aid
The Emergency First Aid course is designed to offer essential basic skills and knowledge required to administer emergency first aid at work until someone more qualified is available to take charge of the situation. The course is ideal for small businesses where health & safety risks are minimal or for persons expected to complement the skills of a qualified first-aider. Emergency First Aid training courses are held at our dedicated centres in Kings Langley, Watford and Daventry, Northants or onsite at client premises
Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessor
This course is designed to provide delegates with an appreciation and understanding of Display Screen Workstations, the health related issues and the correct design and layout. Delegates will be given the knowledge on how to conduct the basic first level DSE Assessment (as per HSE guidance) and define where an expert is required.
