Safe Use of Ladders and Steps
The Safe Use of steps and ladders course explains types of steps & ladders, their components and maintenance requirements and how to identify faults. Practical sessions include safe setting up of steps & ladders and considerations to take into account of the working environment. Display Screen Equipment (Awareness)
There have been many cases of employees sueing their employer for injuries sustained whilst operating display screen equipment. This course identifies the hazards of using such equipment and will enable the operator to make adjustments to their own work position to eliminate such injuries.
COSHH Awareness
The COSHH awareness course is designed to provide delegates with an appreciation and understanding of hazardous substances within the work place and how they can be effectively controlled. The course structure allows delegates to gain a basic understanding of chemical safety, particularly about long-term, short-term ill health associated with potential exposure. Lone Working
The aim of the course is to ensure that employees are aware of the potential hazards and risks associated with lone working, their individual roles and responsibilities in preventing danger to themselves and others and to outline the practical steps that can be taken to minimise the risks to their safety.
